Introducing Microsoft Dynamics 365

Have you heard the buzz?  Microsoft has recently announced the launch of Dynamics 365, replacing Dynamics CRM and ERP with one unified business application suite.  This new offering brings together Microsoft’s most powerful business software under one umbrella, similar to Office 365’s productivity software suite.

Microsoft Dynamics 365 is the next step in the evolution of Microsoft’s Dynamics CRM and ERP solutions into one cloud-based service with targeted apps to address specific business functions like sales, marketing, financial management and customer service.  These Dynamics 365 apps can be deployed independently or in conjunction with other apps, providing a customized business suite which adapts to the changing needs of an organization with ease.  Microsoft Dynamics 365 licensing provide choices for the business customer, by allowing you to choose only the applications needed, with a per-user full or limited subscription based on the user’s needs.  Dynamics 365 will be available in the cloud or on-premise.

So, how does this affect existing customers?  For customers currently using MS Dynamics CRM or ERP on premise or via a partner-hosted solution, you can remain on your current version for the foreseeable future.  However, we do not anticipate any further product updates or innovations for those applications.  For customers currently hosting in the TopLine Results cloud, we do not anticipate any changes for several months.  However, some organizations may be interested in transitioning to Dynamics 365 sooner.
