Organizing 101: How CRM can change your life

Do you ever forget where you left your keys?  How often do you miss a phone call or a meeting?  Did you ever go buy a new tool because you couldn’t find your old one?

These are all signs that you need some organization in your life.  I have been called an organizing wizard by some.  Being organized just comes naturally to me.  But even I have missed a meeting and misplaced a receipt – sad, but true.  No one is perfect, but we can all strive to be more organized.  And, trust me, when you are more organized, you are less stressed.  It’s a vicious cycle really…busyness causes stress, stress leads to disorganization, disorganization causes busyness and so on.  So, recapture some time, de-stress and get organized!

Okay, okay…I know that is easier said than done, but you CAN do it.  Everyone can take steps to be more organized.  One step at a time, one day at a time.  You may be asking, how does this relate to CRM?  CRM is simply a tool, a way to organize your business life making it easier to find the information you need to be an effective sales person and to manage your customers with the level of attention they deserve.  CRM is a central repository for your customer data such as contact information, communication history, sales history and new opportunities.  It also provides a central place to keep your schedule and that of your co-workers.  This centralized data center helps you stay on top of important meetings and have vital customer records at your fingertips.  There are countless other ways you can leverage CRM for your organizational needs.

While I can’t promise that having an effective CRM system will mean you will never lose your keys again, what I can promise is that once you have a system in place you can rely on…you will have more time and thinking capacity available to devote to truly important tasks every day.  So, make a commitment to take steps every day to be more organized.  Don’t beat yourself up if you miss a day, just jump back into it tomorrow.  And, investigate CRM for yourself.  We’d be happy to give you a demo.  Just call.
