Cloud Storage – SkyDrive

You may have heard the term cloud storage, but do you know what it means? Cloud storage is a service which allows you to store your documents and files on a network of servers maintained by a trusted third party.

If you are not currently using a cloud storage service, you should consider adding one. SkyDrive is Microsoft’s answer to cloud storage and has been in operation for more than five years. Easily upload documents, videos and music and access them on any web-enabled device including your Android phone, iPhone and of course, the Windows Phone. SkyDrive includes 7 GB of free storage or you can add up to 50 GB of storage for a small annual fee. View and edit your documents online with SkyDrive using the included Office Web apps.
