TopLine Dash Opportunity Status Troubleshooting

Some customers have experienced issues creating a TopLine Dash dashboard from Opportunities in Act!.  This stems from the Status field not showing up in the TopLine query.

When you are creating a dashboard with TopLine Dash in Act! and you would like to sort the table by the Status, the field does not appear under the field selection for the Opportunities table.

The below steps should solve this problem.

To obtain the file to complete the fix, please contact TopLine Results at support@toplineresults.com.

Once you have received the file, please follow the directions below to resolve this issue.  This fix must be completed on the computer/server that contains the database.

- Close Act!.

- Locate and unzip the 2013OppStatusFix file.

- After unzipping the file, open the folder and right click on the Windows batch file. Select the Run as administrator option.

- You will now view a Windows command prompt screen.  It is going to ask you to type in the name of your Act! database.  Type in the name of your database and hit Enter.

- Close out of the command prompt screen, open Act! and select TopLine Dash.  You will now see the Status field when you create a dashboard for opportunities.
